A practical solution for caregivers and residents alike.
When I came to The Landing six years ago, I felt like that this was a big part of the community. In addition to the great nursing and personal assistant staff, there are many activities that bond us together. We can do arts and crafts, bake lots of good things in our baking club, sing in our choir and, of course, play bingo plus lots of other activities. Everyone here works together to make this our own community.
Thank you so much for inviting me. It was very informative and helpful in many ways. The chair massage, hand treatment and coloring books were a pleasant surprise and of course, the special treats to eat and to take home are appreciated. Thank you too for the splendid staff who are helpful to the residents. I am thankful for Madeline’s care and thank you all.
Finding a safe place for mom that allowed her to retain her dignity – I was afraid we faced an impossible task. I wanted her close to me, and looked at four nice places. The Landing at Willow Grove was the one I loved at first sight, and so did mom. It has lots of light and is next to the sweetest lake with swans, ducks and geese. Many of the residents are interesting nice folks like my mom, who have mobility challenges, but make their way with or without assistance as they desire. My mom loves the fitness class, the weekly on-site beautician and monthly on-site podiatrist. She even grudgingly admits the on-site physical therapy room and staff are helping her be more steady and independent. The staff were kind, caring, helpful and knowledgeable in a very scary and confusing time for my mom and me.
