Yosha Reid: Director of Nursing
My first experience as a nurse came before I was a nurse at all. I was in middle school and missed a day to go to work with my Mother. That day I saw someone have a seizure and I felt helpless. I told myself I didn’t want to feel helpless when someone was in need of help again, this became my “why”.
I’ve taken many paths in healthcare, some more challenging than others, today my passion and remembering my “why” has given me ten years experience as an LPN and now this position as the Director of Nursing here at The Landing. Maya Angelou said it best “My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.”
